Your Phone, Your Dash Cam
GoDash turns your iPhone into a dash cam, with navigation, live telemetry and your music on one screen.
Free. Requires iOS 18 or later.
Loop recording
A rolling buffer runs the whole drive. One tap saves up to 10 minutes of video.
Built-in navigation
Turn-by-turn directions, stops and route choices, powered by Apple Maps.
Live telemetry
Speed, g-force, heading, trip distance and altitude at a glance, and on your clips if you want.
Apple Music and podcasts
Your music and podcasts play right inside the app, so you never switch apps while driving.
Save and share
Saved clips land in one list. Play them back, export to Photos or share to a group.
Crash detection
Can watch for a hard brake or a collision and save the clip on its own, no hands needed.
New in GoDash 3
Drive together.
Groups, group trips and a rebuilt app.
Groups
Make a group with up to 12 friends and share dashcam clips. Only your group can watch them.
- Trim a clip to the moment
- Encrypted before it leaves your phone
- See friends on the map while they drive
Group trips
Start a trip and your group joins in one tap. Every car shows on the map.
- When someone stops, the rest can stop too
- Spoken alerts, so eyes stay on the road
- Shared only while GoDash is open
A better map
Find places along your route, add stops and pick the fastest way.
- Stops and route choices
- Look Around and place cards
- Voice guidance and live arrival times
Music and podcasts
More of Apple Music and your podcasts, right on the dashboard.
- Artists, charts and your queue
- Chapters, transcripts and any speed
- Podcasts keep playing in the background
A cleaner dashboard
Tabs along the bottom and every control one tap away.
- Recording status around the Dynamic Island
- Every camera setting in one menu
- Save a clip in one tap
Invite friends, get Pro
Your username is your invite code. When a new friend joins and keeps driving for a week, you both get 6 months of Pro.
Private by design
Your recordings and telemetry stay on your iPhone unless you choose to share a clip, and shared clips are encrypted so only your group can watch them. There are no ads, analytics or tracking, and I don't run any servers that collect your data.
